COVID-19: NCDC reports 101 fresh cases, more recoveries

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 101 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in eleven states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The development brings the total number of confirmed infections so far to 162,489.

The agency announced this on Saturday night via a post on its verified Facebook page.

NCDC also reported 219 recoveries, bringing the total number of discharged cases in the country so far to 150,205.

Two patients also died of the virus’ complications in the last 24 hours as total deaths hits 2,041.
